Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm thrilled to bits! It took me a long time to decide to buy a bread maker - was it going to be one of those never used gadgets like the foot spa? Eventually I decided to go for it! I wasn't sure which one to get and read all the blurb and feedbacks and eventually decide to go for this one because it was a decent price and offered more than just basic bread - and I wanted to be a bit adventurous with it. VERDICT: I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase, I have tried several different recipes all of them have worked out well and I have a couple of favourites - the wholemeal loaf and the malt loaf - so tasty! My advice to you is to go for it - it's brilliant!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Had to buy a new Breadmaker as wore my last one out, don't usually buy things that don't have a review but thought i would take my chance on this one and was glad that i did. It's a very good breadmaker, better than my old one, makes lovely bread and I made the fruit loaf as well which was very nice to. the blade doesn't retract which is a shame, but it doesn't matter as the blade doesn't stick into the bread and doesn't leave a great big hole in the bottom. i would buy this again if i had to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well woth the money This is a lovely sized machine that does not take up too much room on the counter top. The only critisicm is that when I followed the instructions from a already prepared flour mix (ones that you only need to add water to) the measurements of the bread size on the pkt mix did not correspond with the measurement size of the machine and my first two loaves were disasters, they never rose. However when I used the recipe from the bread maker itself, the loaves turned out lovely.I guess it is a game of trial and error. Though I am very happy with this machine and would recommend it to my friends

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fulfilled expectations My original breadmaker finally gave up the ghost after twelve years of constant use. I therefore checked out as many reviews as I could before deciding on this one. I am delighted with it and have had no problems (which are normally to do with measurements) even though I would have wished, that for older customers, the measurements had been in pounds and ounces as well as metric. I am impressed that you can choose from three sizes of loaf: small, medium or large (which was not possible in my old machine, not a Russell Hobbs).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap and Fabulous This is the best bread machine ever! It does 3x sizes of loaf and 3x different crusts. It is the only bread maker I have had that doesn't make the bread taste funny. I use it every other day to make a 500g loaf (plenty for just the two of us). I have made all the sizes and they all come out brilliantly. I have used both the cake and sweet programmes and am going to make some jam next week.... Best buy of the year

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The bread maker works well so far on normal & french loaves and pizza dough - can't fault it. We bought it mainly to bake gluten-free loaves as my husband is intolerant to wheat/gluten. It bakes them ok and works out cheaper than buying the GF bread, but the recipe given in the leaflet requires a particular type of flour blend (Juvela), which we hadn't heard of and could only get (expensively) online. As a result we have used a normal GF flour blend. The problem with GF bread is that is doesn't rise as much as normal, so don't expect it if you are buying for that reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase Our old ( and much more expensive) breadmaker packed up so we bought this as a replacement. All the loaves we have made so far have risen well with open texture and a much more even crust than our old machine. We used the set of measures from our old machine. Such good results could not be obtained without proper measures. They should be included as standard but were not. This could explain why some people get disapointing results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best breadmaker so far This is my 2nd breadmaker, I've had it 2 weeks now and more or less made a loaf every day, and so far I'm very pleased with it. Its a nice size and the non-stick breadpan is excellent, bread just falls out. I have made all kinds of bread, hot cross bun loaf, cheese and onion loaf, cinnoman and apple loaf, soup bread, french bread and without doubt the best so far, the breakfast loaf, so good toasted with butter and marmalade its very hard for me not to eat the lot throughout the day. A few tips now, milk gives softer crust, water a crisper crust and which ever one you use always warm the fluid, very important, I always use a teaspoon bread improver, you can buy it online and its well worth the money, I help the mix along with a slim spatula, moving the flour from around the sides so it mixes all in and for every loaf I make I add 40g of very very soft unsalted butter. To do this let the bread ingredients mix until it just forms a dough ball, about 5 or 6 minutes, and then drop in pieces of the soft butter, this gives the bread the most delicious tasty golden colour. The last thing I do is remove the bread paddle after the last kneading, just before the last rise, move the dough to one side and pull the paddle out and then move the dough back, a bit messy but well worth it as you don't get the hole at the bottom of the loaf. I would highly recommend this breadmaker to everyone, I am very pleased with it.
