Step 2When the water is boiling add the pasta and cook for 8-9 minutes. Drain and lightly refresh with cold water then set aside until ready to use. Carefully wipe clean the bowl.
Step 3For the cheese sauce, select the sear programme and add the butter to the bowl. Once the butter has melted, stir in the flour.
Step 4Using a ladle, add in small amounts of the milk to the bowl making sure to incorporate each amount fully before adding the next amount. Continue until finished.
Step 5Turn off the heat and stir in cheese to the sauce, followed by the pasta.
Step 6Pre heat an oven to 180ºC.
Step 7For the topping, combine all the ingredients except the parsley and sprinkle over the mac ‘n’ cheese.
Step 8Transfer the mac ‘n’ cheese to a baking/ serving dish.
Step 9Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Step 10Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top and serve.
