  • 400gmacaroni
  • 2 tbspolive oil
  • Saltto taste
  • 50gbutter
  • 50gplain flour
  • 1 Lwhole milk
  • 300-400ggrated leftover cheese
  • Saltand cayenne pepper
  • 40gbread crumbs
  • 40ggrated leftover hard cheese
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Choppedflat leaf parsley
Method
  • Step 1For the pasta, half fill your Russell Hobbs Good To Go Multicooker bowl with water, 2 tbsp of olive oil and salt then select the boil programme.

  • Step 2When the water is boiling add the pasta and cook for 8-9 minutes. Drain and lightly refresh with cold water then set aside until ready to use. Carefully wipe clean the bowl.
  • Step 3For the cheese sauce, select the sear programme and add the butter to the bowl. Once the butter has melted, stir in the flour.
  • Step 4Using a ladle, add in small amounts of the milk to the bowl making sure to incorporate each amount fully before adding the next amount. Continue until finished.
  • Step 5Turn off the heat and stir in cheese to the sauce, followed by the pasta.
  • Step 6Pre heat an oven to 180ºC.
  • Step 7For the topping, combine all the ingredients except the parsley and sprinkle over the mac ‘n’ cheese.

  • Step 8Transfer the mac ‘n’ cheese to a baking/ serving dish.
  • Step 9Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Step 10Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top and serve.
