Creamy Spicy Potato Soup

Creamy Spicy Potato Soup

A soup that is deliciously smooth & creamy and packs a spicy punch

  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • ½ white Onion
  • 1level tsp. Malay Curry powder (any medium curry will do)
  • 1 large Potato
  • 350ml. Milk
  • 1 Vegetable Stock Pot portion
  • 1- 3 tsp. Mango chutney*
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander to garnish

Firstly peel and chop the onion and add that with the olive oil to your Russell Hobbs Soup Maker and select the boil option. Peel and chop the potato and mix them with the curry powder – place the mix into the soup maker and select the blitz button to mix the onions with the potato – then select boil again for a couple of minutes.  Add the stock pot and the milk and select the smooth soup option.  When the cycle has completed, add the mango chutney and season.  *If you like a “savoury sweet” thing, don’t be afraid to add a little more mango if you think it works for you.  Check the seasoning and add a little salt if required
