The Ninja CREAMi

We get it. Lots of you love the Ninja offering! The reality is that if you’ve found yourself on this page, you’re potentially considering buying one or looking for Ninja Creami alternatives.

So let’s be completely honest. The Ninja CREAMi (NC300UK) has undeniably earned a massive following online, turning frozen protein shakes and fruit tins into smooth desserts. It reviews incredibly well. On the whole, customers love it.

Operating with an 800W motor, its main selling point is speed and versatility. According to official guidelines, you freeze your chosen base mixture solid in the tubs supplied with the product (freeze the mixture for 24 hours) and the machine's dual drive motor takes care of the rest.

It offers:

  • 7 pre-set programs handles mix-ins brilliantly

  • A handy "Re Spin" button if your initial cycle comes out slightly crumbly still or you want it just that bit creamier

It comes with a 2 year warranty from Ninja. And its dishwasher safe parts to make cleaning up that little bit easier because, let’s be honest, nothing ruins an ice cream break like having to clean up after!

However, the Ninja Creami does command a premium price tag at an official RRP of £199.99, and its included tubs are slightly smaller at 473ml each.

The Russell Hobbs Chilluxe

Our own ice cream maker offering, the Chilluxe, is newer to market but it’s already making a name for itself.

We’re proud of our identical 4.6 star rating (very similar to the Ninja Creami in that regard), 7 preset options, respin option and 800w motor. All of that puts us very much on par with the Ninja Creami.

One of the key differences between the products though? Our RRP is notably lower than that of the Ninja Creami, at £159.99 and if you get it on sale, you save! As of 26th May, we’re offering the Chilluxe at £139.99 bought direct from us.

Our lidded tubs are slightly bigger at 500ml, our parts are dishwasher safe too and you can extend our standard 2 year warranty to 3 years by registering online.

In other words, we’re really confident that the Chilluxe offers a lower cost alternative to the Creami without having to sacrifice on spec or the quality of your frozen desserts.

So Which of these Ice Cream Makers is Best for You?

We’re bound to be a little biased here, aren’t we? But look at the data. Both of these ice cream makers are premium quality with a powerful 800w engine, multiple modes and ultimately the ability to put creamy summer day desserts in your hands with the touch of a button.

Both products were rated 4.6/5 on Argos on 26 May 2026 (review counts may differ).”

But the Chilluxe offers that spec with a lower price tag and a longer warranty when you register it on our website.
