Rib rub

Rib rub

Impress your guests this BBQ season and serve up a rib rack like now other - full on flavour, minimal effort.

Ingredients
  • 3 tsp ground cumin
  • 3 tsp smoked paprika
  • 3 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tsp onion powder
  • 3 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground white pepper
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp demerara sugar
Method
  1. Combine all ingredients in the mini chopper and blend until well combined.
  2. Take a rack of ribs and sprinkle the rub all over them, rub into the meat, cover with cling film and leave to marinate in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Heat an over to 150C and cook the ribs for 2-2 ½ hours.
