This fragrant home made pesto is made with 5 simple ingredients - perfect with pasta and chicken!
1. Roast the pine nuts in a pan with a little olive oil and set aside on paper to cool. Finely grate the parmesan, finely chop the garlic.
2. Add the garlic, parmesan, and seasoning and cooled pine nuts to the food processor bowl, using the pulse function pulse slightly. Pick the basil leaves into the bowl and blend for 1 minute, slowly add the oil whilst continuously blending. Check the seasoning and pour into a container and store in the fridge.This is ideal served with fresh pasta.
