Autumnal Apple Smoothie
As we move into the autumn, our fruit options change. Replacing vibrant and fresh strawberries are less exotic fruits like apples. However, the apple is a great ingredient for a rich and tasty smoothie.
This kind of smoothie reminds you of apple pie or apple crumble on a typical autumn evening. Even though there are many different varieties of apple, we’ll let you choose your favourite for this smoothie.
• 1 x large apple, peeled and sliced
• 1 x banana
• 2 cups of apple juice
• 1 x kiwi
These ingredients exude a strong apple taste but the banana gives it a little substance and if you can get your hands on a kiwi, even better. The kiwi injects an extra bit of sweetness, not to mention plenty of goodness.
